Mexico Beach, Florida is a 3-mile strip of sugar-white sand along the Gulf of Mexico, only 1.25 square miles total, with a permanent population of only 1200 residents. This small seaside town is known for its pristine beaches, friendly locals and pleasant resort atmosphere, making it an appealing Florida vacation and/or retirement destination.
Located just east of Panama City and Tyndall Air Force Base in Bay County, Mexico Beach is bordered on the east by its sister communities of Beacon Hill and St. Joe Beach, which are just across the county line in Gulf County.
